The sort key
One column drives the order: the document tied to a batch. Rows group by that column first, then fall alphabetically by domain inside each group. That is the entire mechanism, and it is printed so no reader mistakes position for preference.
Four cell states, never squeezed to three
- Opens without an account.
- Handed over on request.
- Nothing found.
- Not read.
The fourth state is not the third. Nothing found means a page was opened and no file was there. Not read means no page was opened at all. Collapsing the two would turn an unread row into a false negative, so they stay apart.
The read-date stamp
A filled cell carries the date its page was opened, beside a plain link to that exact page. A cell with no date was opened by nobody, and it stands as not read. The tally above the table counts rows filed, rows opened, and rows unread, and the numbers come from the table rather than from a keyboard.
Results that ranked without being sorted
A row leaves the table when it carries no goods to sort. Two returned surfaces are held out for that reason: facebook.com and youtube.com both ranked here, yet neither carries goods and nothing on either was opened. They are recorded on this page rather than in the table, so the count of returns and the count of filed rows both stay honest.
Why order is not a score
Nothing here is scored, and no cell is reasoned from a brand. Row position falls out of the stated mechanism and means nothing beyond it. The table this method governs is the sort, and the commercial statement is filed separately.
